A fun and
supportive introduction for new and developing actors.
Acting
script-in-hand is an essential skill for auditions, audio drama and
theatre. In this practical session, originally created for Reigate College
and New Venture Theatre, we will explore using voice, movement, and
meaning to bring the text to life, and those initial stages of marking up
and using scripts in performance.
Groups will receive short
original scripts to rehearse with direction, and then perform on the
Sweet@The Yellow Book stage. We'll follow this up with a brief discussion
and feedback session for all attendees.
