Peace 'N' Jam (sober disco & More)
Dundee’s only 16+ sober disco & more. A unique sober space and underground
music club with a difference; friendly people, welcoming, stigma- free,
inclusive, judgment-free, dance-friendly and open-hearted for all people
of good will and every culture or background.
Peace n Jam
especially welcomes people who are in recovery from anything in life. In
particular, if you miss dancing or club culture but don’t want to be
around substances or alcohol, then this place is for you no matter the
reason you choose to be sober. We all have different motivations to
socialise free from alcohol or substances. At Peace n Jam, nobody is
judged, everyone is welcome, whatever their life experiences in a safe
space for otherwise marginalised groups. KNOW PEACE, GROW COMMUNITY, LOVE
LIFE.
We aim to attract and connect with a curious, conscious,
music- appreciative audience who care about peace, DIY community events,
art, and sound culture.
With our Volunteer Welcome Team, we look
forward to seeing you on the floor at the Sankalpa Centre in Dundee’s city
centre.
4 - 5: Early doors slow-tempo and relaxation sound session.
Chill out and enjoy a warm welcome from our volunteer team. The energy of
dancing sober will build gently through our unique evening programme.

- 5:45: Visualisation and sound appreciation, followed by gentle guided
mindful movement from ambient sound into silence and back to gentle warm
up.
5:45 - 10: Dancin yer socks off.
Expect funk, hip-hop,
rare groove, afrobeat, oddities, punk, global rhythms, deep soulful house,
hypnotic techno, electro… anyhin from 2 of Dundee’s finest and best-
seasoned underground vinyl DJs Miss DLove & Lux Lucis.
Dry bar,
water and snacks available at the venue. No BYO. A wee free piece n jam
for every punter!
